A graduate of the University of Chicago, Evan Williams is a queer writer interested in the collision of Surrealism, masculinity, and the natural world. Their poetry and fiction have appeared in DIAGRAM, Pleiades, Indiana Review, Denver Quarterly, Passages North, Tyger Quarterly, Bennington Review, and the New Orleans Review, among other journals, and has been twice-anthologized in Best Microfiction. Evan is a co-founding editor of Obliterat, the temporary journal of prose poetry, and a contributing writer for the Cleveland Review of Books.

Evan is the author of several chapbooks, including Claustrophobia, Surprise! (HAD Chaps, 2022) and An Extremely Well-Funded Study of Doors (above/ground press, 2023).
